Perfect Pizza in Everett, WA

Brooklyn Brothers Pizzeria
1919 Hewitt Ave, Everett, WA
My husband heard about a good pizza place in Everett, but since that's about 45 minutes north of where we live, we hadn't had a chance to check it out until this weekend, when it turned out to be a convenient stopping-off point on the way back from the Anacortes ferry terminal. Brooklyn Brothers Pizzeria was definitely worth the trip! It was the real -- super thin crust, toppings not too heavy, available by the slice. Definitely an A, possibly even an A plus. On par with my current northwest favorite, Zagy's. Yum.

I love this site...great resource for us transplants...although I was one over 16 years ago! Went to the Brooklyn Brothers today based upon your recommendation and have to say, it was the 'real' deal...completely. THE best NY style pizza I've had of 16 years on the west coast...period. Even the Polly-O cheese, oiled crust, large air bubbles (west coasters usually complain or pop them), a 'charred' bottom, and the perfect amount of oil pooling on the cheese. The crumbled sausage was flavorful and textured as well. I GOTTA try the Sicilian next time...i really don't know another place where you can get it in the Seattle area. Even closed out with their canneloni, which was spot on! We we also treated great by the wife of the owner...she has some really funny stories about people's/amateur's complaints about the lack of pineapple, hamburger, canadian bacon, etc. LOL!

The raves here are absolutely true! They even have Sicilian pies! This place isn't as well known as it would be if it was in Seattle, as it doesn’t show up on Seattle searches on yelp, etc. So spread the word--this is the only truly authentic NY pizza out here, despite all the places that use the term. Maybe one day a second branch will open in Seattle and this place will be as famous as the legendary spots that serve pizza that's nowhere near as good!
